The First Woman Who Tried to Vote in the united kingdom

Ever thought abt how women were treated in europe during old times?

While our Bharat had women rishis, scholars, and even warriors, back in 1872, the first woman who tried to vote in the UK was thrown to the ground just for trying. Just imagine!

This just shows how advanced our ancesters were compared to the so-called Victorian europe.

She took a stand!

So this first woman who tried to vote in the UK, she knew the law didnt allow it but still she went in to vote. And what happened?

She got thrown out. Literally! Instead of listning to her, they just kicked her out. But her courage sparked a fight for womens rights.

Meanwhile, in Bharat, women had already been respected for ages. Gargi and Maitreyi debated philosphy with sages, and queens like Rani Durgavati ruled like a boss!

A long struggle (for west)!

That first woman who tried to vote in the UK opened the way for others like Emmeline Pankhurst. After a loooong struggle, some women finaly got voting rights in 1918, and by 1928, all women could vote.

But our Bharat was already way ahead. Our culture already knew that women were equal, not just after some fight but from ancient times! Our texts always spoke of their wisdom and power.

Why this matters today?

The first woman who tried to vote in the UK never saw change in her lifetime, but she helped make it happen. So next time someone says, “Why bother voting?”—remember her story.

As Bharatiyas, lets be proud of our history of empowering women.

The west took centuries to realize what we already knew! True progress is not about copying them but about reviving the greatness we always had.
