I propose, Some Changes to Preserve our Culture.

Some Changes to Preserve our Culture

Plastics are very useful stuff, when used correctly. But when they are used in a way to save money, i mean in an incorrect way, the problems are everlasting.

Whenever I see the roads being destroyed, for drainage construction or repair. I see a lot of plastics mixed up in the soil. Its very annoying to see as the soil is damaged using plastics and making our land and soil impure and lifeless. Filtering this could take several decades as it is very demanding and not much efficient process to fix this issue.

But there is the issue which can be fixed, which can be implemented, which will have a very big impact on the purity of our rivers, soil, and overall country.

"Restrict the usage of Plastic Materials in the following things:

    1. Idols, the clothes, the hairs, the crown, are all made of plastics.

    2. Chunari or Dupatta, which are used widely in Maa Vaishno Devi Yatra are all made up of plastics; not only there, the idols in our homes might have the Chunari made of plastics.

Since, when this plastics came into our culture? is it necessary?

I don't think, this is according to our traditions; If we don't stop the usage of plastics here, there will be idols made of plastic soon in the future; the reason? The soil of rivers from where mud is taken, is also mixed with plastics; The same which happened to the roads.

This is more dangerous and will harm the culutre more than the invaders, who are trying to end our culture. We, by doing this are killing our own culture day-by-day, week-by-week...

Haridwar, Bharat

This will also increase the soil prices, day-by-day as gathering the pure soil will be expensive day-by-day.... and the prices of idols will also rise and go high, and we will think, there is governement's fault... But no! We are killing our culture with our own hands.

The Idols, and Chunari, are ultimately, immersed in the rivers, or land. So, I propose, some changes, in order to save our culture, from being destroyed from our own hands.

Our ancesstors protected our culture, by using natural substances, so that we can make idols with mud easily and celebrate the festivals... but slowly, we the so called "Modern Soceity" are slowly destroying our own culutre with our own hands.

You need to think about this. Using plastics in our festivals, is not only out of our culture, but it is slowly killing our culture more than the invaders; I assure, if there is no action taken, the consequences will be irreversible for many hundred years...

Thank you.
