We all once in our lifetime, has gone there: starting a task we know it needs to be done ASAP, yet we don't want to do it. There can be many reasons, from mood, joyful, plain work, blah blah... it can be anythingg.....
Whatever be the reason, when we try to prevent ourselves from preventing doing this task, we are not getting any joy, but extra stress, which only makes it harder to tackle in our mind...
This guide, is there to help you out my friend, I will try my best to convince you why you should do your work. Your work could be anything, not just limited to offices or schools, it could be spending time with your family, which u consider a work, but u enjoy that work, instead of spending 8 hour sitting on a chair? Am i right?
Sometimes, the questions have the answers itself, you just need to look for it. This is well known by everyone, and you too know this, right?
First, just fill up the below blank with the task you are not willing to do, feel free to choose, which one you liked....
“I don’t want to do _____, but if I do ______, I’ll control my life, not the _____.”
“I don’t want to do _______. But if I do ________, then I will see a significant financial payoff both now and in the future and will feel good about my choices.”
“I don’t want to do _______. But if I get ________ done, then it will make my boss happy and lower my anxiety every time I have a one-on-one meeting.”
“I don’t want to do _______. But if I make progress on ________, then I will have so much less stress next week and be prepared for ________.”
After filling, I need not to tell you anything more... you will automatically realize that what u need to do, your brain will automatically reflect back and you will get a instant reply from inside...
For, example.... I don't at all, wanted to write this blog post, because I'd rather watch PC tutorials on youtube, which might be useful for me but it might not be useful for me too..
So, what did i do? I must have did somethign that this blog post exist? and I have not watched those youtube videos instead... I only filled up the blank, and transformed it into a proper sentence.
“I don’t want to do post writing. But if I make progress on writing a blog post, then I will have so much less stress next week and when my exams will be happening.”
This worked, crores more than listening to "Lagi Syantik" or watch the rock motivational videos on youtube.... I felt that my brain stopped thinking about music and videos, because my brain got to know what will happen if i don't do this task..
